The International Solar Alliance convenes its Eighth Regional Committee Meeting for Africa on 25–27 August 2026 in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The meeting brings together ISA Member Countries, ministers and development partners to review progress and accelerate solar deployment across the continent, which holds around 60% of the world's best solar resources but accounts for only 1% of global installed solar PV capacity.

Over three days, the agenda covers the operationalisation of the Africa Solar Facility, new Country Partnership Frameworks, the launch of the Solarising Africa Strategy Report, and a Community of Practice on solar irrigation and Agri-PV. Thematic sessions will address battery storage, e-mobility, artificial intelligence, critical minerals, and harmonisation of standards, alongside a Ministerial Session on delivering impact through country partnerships.
